Our Vision
At Shrink Redwood Life, formerly Stop Redwood Life, we believe in the power of community grassroots movements to drive change. We have been submitting petition signatures opposing the massive plan, 3.3 million square feet, to the Redwood City Council and planning staff since October 2021.
Our first goal has been achieved. The original proposed plan was reduced to 2.86 million from 3.3 million square feet.
Our next objective is "SHRINK Redwood Life ".
We DO NOT solicit donations to fund our activities. We grow our movement solely through NETWORKING.
This movement was started by a husband and wife, 32-year residents of Redwood Shores.
LET'S SHRINK REDWOOD LIFE ALTERNATIVE 2!!
1. Keep the current setback to keep Redwood Shores' openness unique character.
2. Limit the height of the two buildings, N1 and N2, facing Marine Parkway to a maximum of 70 ft to make them less massive.
3. Eliminate the hotel to reduce traffic during non- working hours.
