On February 12, 2025, Longfellow presented two additional alternatives to the original plan. The best option was Alternative 2, with a size of 2.86 million square feet. Stop Redwood Life supported Alternative 2 with the stipulation of increasing setbacks and lowering building height on Marine Parkway.

The Alternative 2 is still too MASSIVE AND NEEDS FURTHER SHRINKAGE!!

 

 

The following are changes in Alternative 2 from the original 3.3 million sq ft plan:

  1. Remove two buildings N7 and N12
  2. Combine N4 and N5
  3. Reduce life science by 459,000 SF
  4. Reduce building heights at the high point site
  5. Increase building setbacks from the SE property line (to 105 FT)
  6. Increase building setbacks from Slough (to 160 FT)
  7. Move Longfellow lane
  8. Lower garage height, reduces size and moves away from property line
  9. Increase greenway width and public open space (35 acres)

We require further changes to the Alternative 2!!
